Why choose plasma therapy?

Virtually painless

Manual PRP injections can be quite uncomfortable, especially on the scalp. At Decus, we use a virtually painless injection device that makes the procedure much more comfortable.

Safe for the body

Because the active substance is derived from your own blood, PRP therapy is one of the safest and most natural procedures in aesthetic medicine.

Highly effective

We’ve seen excellent results from many of our clients. Regular plasma therapy can deliver remarkable improvements in skin and hair condition.

Special offers for plasma therapy

How does plasma therapy work?

Plasma therapy is completely safe for the body because it uses an active substance derived from your own blood. During the procedure, plasma is separated from the blood and injected into the targeted area.

The injected plasma helps to:

  • stimulate the formation of stem cells in the treated area;
  • accelerate the production of type I collagen;
  • promote the synthesis of the skin’s natural RNA matrix and matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1).

The result is natural skin rejuvenation and visible improvement in overall skin condition — acne reduction, smoother texture, and improved elasticity. Plasma lifting is also widely used to stimulate hair growth.

Vereplasma süstid

Virtually painless plasma therapy

Plasma therapy involves injections, and sensitivity to pain varies from person to person — as well as by treatment area.

At Decus Clinic, we use a virtually painless injection device that ensures precision, consistency, and comfort throughout the procedure.

The device distributes the plasma evenly under the skin and delivers it at exactly the right depth — something that’s impossible to achieve with manual injection.

Thanks to this advanced technique, we can safely and comfortably treat even sensitive areas such as the scalp, abdomen, and inner thighs.

They tried it

I’ve tried several procedures, but nothing has worked as well as plasma therapy. My skin became smoother and looked as if I’d had a professional facial every day. I truly recommend it.

Plasma therapy for the face

The main reason people turn to plasma therapy is the desire to reduce wrinkles, expression lines, and other visible signs of aging. As the skin regenerates, it achieves a powerful rejuvenating and tightening effect.

Plasma therapy also improves the overall condition of the skin.

PRP injections:

  • smooth fine and medium-depth wrinkles;
  • even out pigmentation and scars, including acne scars;
  • improve skin tone, including dark circles under the eyes;
  • help treat acne and seborrhea;
  • deeply hydrate the skin;
  • restore sun-damaged skin.

Plasma therapy for hair

Numerous studies have shown that PRP therapy stimulates hair growth. The treatment strengthens the hair follicles and improves hair density.

Remarkable results have been achieved in cases of hair thinning, balding, and itchy dandruff caused by various factors.

PRP therapy is suitable for:

  • genetic hair loss;
  • alopecia areata;
  • general hair thinning;
  • supporting results after hair transplantation.

While manually performed PRP injections can be quite painful on the scalp, at Decus we use a special injection device that makes the procedure virtually painless.

Procedure

A single plasma therapy session lasts up to one hour and consists of three stages:

  1. a specialist takes a small blood sample (up to 30 ml);
  2. the blood is placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma;
  3. the plasma is then injected into the target area.

The procedure is not painful, as Decus is one of the few clinics in Estonia that uses an injection device ensuring precision and comfort.

Results

The first improvements can usually be seen within two weeks after the first session. The best results are achieved through a course of 3–6 procedures (the exact number is determined by a specialist).

Treatments are performed at 2–3 week intervals. The results of plasma therapy typically last from 6 to 18 months. With regular maintenance sessions, there is no need to repeat the full course.

Frequently asked questions

Plasma therapy offers multiple benefits.

For facial skin, PRP injections have a rejuvenating and restorative effect. They help reduce fine and medium-depth wrinkles and other visible signs of aging. Because PRP also moisturizes the skin and helps reduce pigmentation, acne, and scars, it is an excellent all-round rejuvenation treatment.

Another common use for PRP therapy is to stimulate hair growth. Numerous studies worldwide have shown that plasma therapy supports hair regeneration in cases of hereditary baldness as well as other forms of alopecia. It also helps increase hair density.

No, PRP injections are not the same as hyaluronic acid injections. Hyaluronic acid is a component used in many cosmetic preparations, and while both PRP and hyaluronic acid treatments deeply hydrate the skin, they are completely different procedures.

Plasma therapy can be uncomfortable if the injections are performed manually or on sensitive areas such as the scalp.

At Decus Clinic, we use a special injection device that ensures precision and comfort, making the procedure virtually painless — even on the scalp.

Visible changes appear after the very first treatment — usually within 2–3 weeks.

However, for long-lasting results, the procedure should be repeated as part of a course, typically three sessions or more if needed. The exact number of sessions is determined by beauty specialist.

The duration varies by individual but results generally last from 6 to 18 months.

PRP therapy is one of the safest aesthetic procedures because it uses plasma derived from your own blood. This means the body cannot reject or react allergically to it.

As a result, PRP therapy has virtually no side effects. The injection sites may cause minor irritation, but since Decus uses a precisely calibrated injection device, even this risk is minimal.

We recommend scheduling your appointment in the morning before eating. If necessary, have a light breakfast. Avoid fatty, spicy, or fried foods for 24 hours before your session, and do not consume alcohol the day before the treatment.

Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the procedure.

PRP therapy should not be performed during the first 2–3 days of menstruation.

For one week after treatment, avoid strong cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels.

You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions directly from your Decus specialist.
