Photorejuvenation
Photorejuvenation is an effective way to eliminate signs of photoaging and make the skin visibly more youthful. The treatment uses intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy, where light energy stimulates the production of new elastin and collagen fibres, improves blood circulation and metabolism, and enhances tissue nourishment.
Photorejuvenation is performed at our clinic using the latest Harmony XL system from Alma Lasers (Israel).
Procedure
As a result of the treatment, the skin becomes firmer, pores appear smaller, the tone evens out, and signs of photoaging fade. Thanks to the built-in cooling system, the procedure is generally painless – you may feel only a mild tingling sensation. Your eyes will be protected with special goggles during the treatment.
Depending on your goals, the course may consist of 3–6 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart. The exact number of sessions will be determined by a Decus specialist during consultation. After the treatment, SPF 30 (or higher) sunscreen must be applied every three hours. For one month after the procedure, sunbathing and solarium visits should be avoided.
